In addition to the above routine I carried out the

following:-

The Mee Lun Lane and Kau U Fong Resumptions which em-

braced arrangements for purchasing two large areas in the

moat congested districts of the city sweeping away the

than existing tenements shoring up and underpinning the

aurrounding property, and forming new roads and streets

through such areas.

Complete detailed plans and report for the erection of

a Destructor for dealing with the refuse of the city, the

plans providing for the reclamation of an extensive sea

The erection of Bungalows at the Peak for Government

officials.

In my present position my duties involve the following:-

The repair,maintenance and extension of about 300

Government buildings, embracing:-

Hospitals,

Schools,

Markets,

Gaols,

Police Station,

Oattle Depota,

Slaughter Houses,

Lighthouses

and all Government piers and sea walls.
